Youth Accounts

Teach them how to save sooner

Grove City Area Federal Credit Union offers a way for the youth in our community to save. Being NCUA-insured, you know your money is safe. Our youth accounts let our young members earn competitive interest rates while teaching a way to start saving young!

SHARE SAVINGS ACCOUNTS
This is your primary account needed to maintain Credit Union membership. You must keep at least $5.00 in your account to remain a member. You may deposit any amount to this account at any time. Access to your share account is simple. You can withdraw from your account in person, through the mail or by a phone request.
Dividends on the share account are computed on the actual daily balance. Dividends are posted on the 1st of the month following the end of the quarter. Dividends will not be paid on accounts with a share balance of less than $50.00. Once you have a Savings Account, members of your family can take advantage of the benefits of our Credit Union.

SPECIAL EVENTS
Throughout the year, we have different events that we invite the youth to attend. Previous years, we had the Easter Bunny at both branches to get pictures taken. We've also had a Christmas Craft with many different ornaments to decorate and gave a goodie bag to take home.
Keep your eyes open for upcoming evens either on our social media platforms (Find us on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram @GCAFCU) or here on our website under the News and Events/Community Corner tab!
